Under Ekaete’s leadership, CBM Global Nigeria focuses on inclusive community-based programs, advocacy, and providing expert advice to other organizations on disability inclusion.

- National President, Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD):
- Ekaete was the first elected female president of JONAPWD, where she led the organization to significant milestones, including the signing of the Nigerian Disability Bill into law in 2019 after 17 years of advocacy.
- Founder and Executive Director, FACICP Disability Plus:
- Ekaete founded FACICP Disability Plus to promote the inclusion of women and girls with disabilities in all gender and development efforts. The organization has been instrumental in advocating for and implementing inclusive policies and practices.
