This Situation Room is designed to enable women and girls with disabilities seek and get basic information on COVID-19 and disability issues, as well as share knowledge and experience on coping strategies.
The Situation Room will provide a platform for WWDs to report gender and health rights abuses which may arise from their quest to access COVID-19 support services, as well as to secure appropriate responses and advise from relevant public and/or private sector agencies.
The Situation Room on COVID-19 and WWDs is ICT-driven; allowing access through the most common communication platforms including phone, Email, and the major social media platforms.
